Virtual Servers
Virtual Servers are usually one of the most popular ways of low cost web hosting. Performance is very rarely affected, therefore acts like it is being served by a dedicated server. One powerful server is partitioned / segmented into many smaller servers (virtualisation); this allows greater power and speed speed with full 'root' access (linux servers) or admin level remote desktop (windows server) whenever needed.
The server runs alongside a number of others on the same hardware, everybody who is on the virtual server can have the same amount of disk space and memory usage or specify their own amounts to us.
All users are completely confidential and are not known to each other, each user is given details to access their own part of the server. In the event that a customer breaks their server, only their server is affected. You server will continue as though nothing has happened.
Your virtual server would be located in our high security nuclear / anti-biological warfare bunker in a secure location behind multiple Cisco firewalled hardware.
The advantage of virtulisation is that you can choose which operating system you wish to have running. Forinstance you may prefer a Microsoft Windows server instead of a Linux server or vice versa.
